Launched: 2011 Social Impact Programme

Social Entrepreneurs Ireland has today launched their 2011 awards programme; a fantastic opportunity for social entrepreneurs seeking to grow their organisations and leverage their social impact.

This year three social entrepreneurs will be selected, each receiving funding of €130,000. In addition they will each receive targeted business and personal support to the value of €35,000 across key areas such as strategic planning, operations and financial sustainability.

Full details of the application process, eligibility criteria and an overview of the Social Impact Programme can be found online at www.socialentrepreneurs.ie.

The application deadline is Wednesday 16th February 2011 at 3pm.

Last years winners were John Lawlor from the Bridge to College (which I recently wrote about here), Francis Black’s The Rise Foundation, and Dara Hogan from An Cosan (Fledgings Childcare).
