A few days ago I was cycling by St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, and couldn’t help but notice a lovely winter flowering blossom tree. I was racing somewhere at the time and didn’t have a chance to stop to admire it. But today, I made a point of stopping by, in awe and admiration.
It has been a cold, harsh few months in Dublin. The snow came and stayed, and the cold seeped into every open pore. But despite the weather, this tree still continued to do what it does so beautifully and abundantly, giving forth its blossoms. It gives me hope that behind every challenge lies a blossoming, behind every winter struggle there will be a spring.
(While I had my camera out, I took a few more shot. All taken on my iPhone, with some tweeking in Lightroom)
