Got an Idea? Step into it with Friends!

‘Stepping In!’ – An Ideas to Action Café

Thursday 24th May 6:30pm- 9:30pm

Lanterns Centre, 17 Synge Street, Dublin 8.

Do you have an entrepreneurial or creative idea that you would like to grow? Are you looking for support to help it have a greater social impact? Would you like to meet and connect with other entrepreneurs or doers?

You are invited to a sparkling night of networking and creative, action-oriented conversation on Thursday 24th May.

You will be hosted by Clare Mulvany (Women’s Entrepreneur Circle, Trailblaze andwww.onewildlife.org) and Eimear McNally (www.makehandstands.com) who will facilitate fun networking activities followed by an Ideas to Action Cafe.

The ‘Ideas to Action Café’ is a creative, action-oriented conversation that allows a set of people to develop an idea of theirs with the help of everyone in the room. It is a mix of World Café and Open Space Technology with the specific purpose of germinating ideas from seeds to seedlings that can be transplanted and grown out in the wild world! It is also an opportunity to deepen our connections with each other in a supportive, collaborative environment. The idea came from hosting the Women’s Entrepreneur Circle, which has created a much-needed space for idea-generation, advice and support. This evening is about diving deeper and celebrating all of that as a community in a supportive, encouraging and creative space, irrespective of gender!

There will be a €10 charge to cover the costs of the event.

If you are coming you are very welcome to bring a contribution to the hosting of the evening- a cake, a nice herbal tea, some candles, art…

Numbers are limited so please register your attendance by emailing Clare:

What previous participants said:

I not only linked up interesting and diverse people that helped to roll my idea around and think about it from different angles in under 2 hours – it has led to new prospects that I could not have otherwise ever hoped for so soon.- Orla.

It was great to take my idea out for a walk to get some air in the form of feedback about what people did/didn’t like about it – it is somehow much easier to do this with people you don’t know!- Helen.

I enjoyed the conversations no end!  – Mary
