Wowzers. What a week. Trailblaze5. Street Feast 2012 Launch. Yoga teacher training. It has been wonderful. It has been intense. It has been rich with the kind of learning, conversations and doing that is rooting deep down and transforming me. Tonight, warmed by it all, I sit and attempt to soak it in. As I do, there are two overwhelming feelings and words showing up: gratitude and potential.
Everywhere I turn there are amazing people and stories popping up with offers to lend a hand, connections, and authentic advice. Trailblaze is bringing out the most incredible stories, raw conversations and ideas into a public forum and Street Feast seems to have a magnetism which brings out the best in people- from passer-bys on the street to our friend Aga, who was up until three in the morning cooking food for strangers. This is true service.
Tonight, as I sit and review the week that was, I am overcome with a deep sense of graditiude for all the people who are emerging- from the speakers and helpers at Trailblaze, to the volunteers with Street Feast and to my yoga teachers, who each day guide me in how to sustain myself and who help to ground me in what is true and real. There is a lot more which can be said about each of these, but for the moment I just wanted to share my gratitude to you all, alongside a few Trailblaze pieces.
We were fortunate to have radio maker Cian McCormack also coming along to Trailblaze, who put together this piece for Morning Ireland, skillfully capturing the atmostphere and ethos of the event. Thank you Cian.
